Admission Procedures For Montessori

As part of the admission procedure, Registration form and an application form will be given after a payment of Rs.5500. Admission can be done either through online registration or offline registration

For Classes Playgroup, Nursery, Jr Kg. and Sr. Kg. generally, we expect to meet both the parents before admission is granted. If the school offers your child an admission, pay the admission and other fee as required, submit following documents and confirm the seat

Admission Procedures For Grade 1-10

Selection Process to The School Is Through Proper Mode

GHRPS is a school with difference. Its admission criteria are concentrated around the capabilities and possibilities of your child rather than what he has rote-learnt before. So “Readiness Assessment” is not just centred on the child’s familiarity with the text books of previous class, but to gain an insight into his intrinsic worth and his readiness to be taken into a new system.

For Classes I to V, generally, we expect to meet both the parents before admission is granted. If the school offers your child an admission, pay the admission and other fee as required, submit any pending document and confirm the seat. If the admission is granted, submit the application form, complete in all respects together with the required document; photographs and declaration etc

Those who intend to make use of the school transport, should fill in a separate form with the details of the destination, point-of-pick-up etc.

Birth certificate should be produced at the time of admission to Grade I. Those who seek admission from other schools, must produce a transfer certificate and the report card (of the qualifying exam) from the school last attended. Four copies of recent passport size photograph should also be submitted.

Foreigners, Indian with foreign nationality or passport and NRI’s should submit photocopies of the relevant pages of their passport attested by a notary or a signatory at the embassy. An admission test followed by an interaction with the child is a pre-requisite for admissio

Fee Regulations

Fee can be paid in 2 instalments. At the time of admission, registration fee, admission fee, caution deposit and the 1st instalment of the annual tuition fee must be paid.
Fee paid after the due date will be charged a penalty.
Fee once paid will not be refunded.

In case students fail to pay fee for two consecutive months, the defaulter's name will be struck off from the roles and they will have to seek re-admission.

Note:

Level Readiness Check - Level readiness check is an interaction between the student and teacher to gauge the learning level. This interaction takes place in a very informal and child friendly environment. One parent has to accompany the child during this interaction

Class 1 - requires that student should be proficient at minimum required level in spoken language skills, reading, comprehension skills, numeracy, and conceptual skills. Hence this process is crucial from the academic point of view and planning for child, parent can also observe their child's level of competence by this step.

Fees Payment

Fees can be paid in offline or online process. All modes of payment like cash, through cheque, demand draft, or NEFT, IMPS and even UPI Payments are accepted.

General Admission Policy 2024-25

Admission is open to all children irrespective of race, religion, caste, nationality, or gender
Only 35 students per class, per division.
Due to RTE (Right to Education) and Sibling admissions, we have limited seats available for admission.
The child needs to fulfil age criteria minimum 6 years of age complete as on 31st December 2022 (Age criteria strictly adhered as per following GR)
Child should have attended formal preparatory school, studying in Sr. KG or equivalent of Pre-Primary education. This is required for basic readiness for grade I with LSRW.
Sibling admission for other classes (only directly related ones) will be given preference when a seat is vacant
Children with special learning needs, abilities and challenges will be discussed on case-to-case basis.
The School Managing Committee's decision is final in this regard

Important to Note

The admission process will not be continued if any of the abovementioned criteria for each step is not fulfilled.
The admission will be confirmed only if the fee is paid on the same day. In case the fee is not paid the seat will not be reserved.
